We are located in Oakland, California near downtown Oakland. We have been in
business in Oakland area for 18 years. We started in 1989 as the Oakland Card
Exchange, which was located in Chinatown/Downtown Oakland. We moved to our
current location on Piedmont Ave in 1992 And became Collectors Corner,
we are right across Blockbuster Video and next one of the East Bays
famous pubs, Cato's Ale House.
We started in 1989 primarily selling sports cards and then moved on to selling
comic books when we moved to Piedmont Ave. Then in 1993 we started
selling a game called Magic The Gathering, then the Pokemon mania hit
and now Yu-Gi-Oh. That's when we decided to host tournaments for the
gamer's. We provide a friendly atmosphere for our gamer's to hangout from
trading cards and dueling. We also won an award for being the best place to leave
your kids after school, from the East Bay Express. |
